About Camp BizSmart
Established in 2008, at Camp BizSmart, students gain valuable skills as they solve actual business problems from CEO’s of innovative companies. The Camp BizSmart founders unique “Learn-Do-Check-Act” curriculum links real world business projects to attaining valuable skills, essential for life-long success. Our youth need an array of skills that are particularly suited to a rapidly changing, highly competitive marketplace. They will carry with them forever qualities of character that matter most; perseverance, curiosity, conscientiousness, optimism and self-control. These qualities, plus the seven skills listed next: Problem Solving and Critical Thinking; Persistence and Tenacity; Project Management; Information Integration; Economic and Financial Literacy; Clear and Honest Communication. Through hands-on workshops, our students work in teams and receive guidance from industry experts then present their product innovation at Microsoft to VC and Angel investors. real- life challenge and opportunities to gain and develop their skills in a meaningful and lasting way. The North American Grand Champion Team presents at the Keiretsu Forum Angel Capital Expo.

Camp BizSmart promotes real-world hands-on learning to provide meaningful challenge and opportunity to develop a student’s innovation, entrepreneurship and the essential skills including developing their “ZOG”, Zest, optimism and grit: Curious people are looking for possibility.
