An Evening Designed to Shine

Shine Among the Stars is more than a gala. It is a luminous evening where Los Gatos’ business, civic, and community leaders come together to celebrate excellence, generosity, and connection.

Set across the gardens and gracious spaces of Nestldown, the night unfolds as a beautifully paced experience composed of distinct moments. Guests move easily from one experience to the next, discovering music, conversation, and celebration at every turn. It is an evening designed for lingering conversations and genuine connection.

Twilight Welcome Reception

As twilight settles in, guests arrive to the Twilight Welcome Reception, where live music, passed bites, and signature cocktails and wine set the tone for the evening. The elegant Fir Barn and the great lawn overlooking the koi pond glow under twinkling lights, creating a sense of magic and understated elegance. These spaces invite you to linger, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet new ones as the night unfolds.

A Little Magic

During the reception, guests are invited to take part in Deck of Stars, the Chamber’s singular gala fundraiser and one of the most anticipated moments of the evening. This premium playing-card draw offers a limited number of chances to win extraordinary prizes, including a truly show-stopping experience: a three-night stay at a luxury villa in Puerto Vallarta for you and up to 36 of your closest friends and family, along with other unforgettable experiences. Deck of Stars is designed to be fun, fast-moving, and social.

The Marquee Experience of the Evening

As the evening transitions, guests are guided into the Stars of Los Gatos Awards & Dinner, the marquee experience of the night. Dinner is presented through elegant, market-style stations thoughtfully crafted for easy enjoyment while standing or seated at nearby tables.

At the heart of this experience is the Stars of Los Gatos Awards, which honor five outstanding businesses and leaders whose impact, leadership, and commitment help Los Gatos thrive.

The five awards include:

• New or Emerging Business of the Year
• Community Impact Award
• Nonprofit of the Year
• Los Gatan of the Year

Nominations are open, and both Chamber members and community members are encouraged to participate.

This portion of the evening is intentionally social. Rather than a traditional, fully seated dinner, the awards and dining experience embraces a flowing, cocktail-style format that encourages conversation while keeping the focus on the stage. Seating is available throughout the space in the form of lounge seating, cocktail tables, and a limited number of unreserved open tables, allowing guests to relax, circulate, and engage at their own pace.

For those who wish to host colleagues, clients, or friends together, a limited number of reserved tables of eight and reserved cocktail tables are available for purchase.

The awards presentation anchors the evening with dedicated viewing areas and clear sightlines, while preserving the open, convivial energy that defines the celebration. Dessert, coffee, and late-evening moments follow, along with a parting gift as a thank-you for being part of the night.

Who May Attend?

Shine Among the Stars is designed first and foremost for Los Gatos Chamber members, who will receive an exclusive two-week priority window to purchase tickets. Following that period, remaining tickets will be opened to other valued supporters and champions of the Los Gatos business community.

Event Registration

Each registration is $200 per attendee and includes access to the full evening experience, including the Twilight Welcome Reception, the Stars of Los Gatos Awards & Dinner, and round-trip shuttle service from central Los Gatos to and from Nestldown.
