Los Gatos Lions Club White Cane Days
The Los Gatos Lions, every year at this time, collect donations for services for the sight impaired. The community is familiar with this annual Lions project. They will be at two locations downtown Los Gatos Thursday and Friday, October 3 and 4, 2019, from 8 AM to 5 PM, collecting donations and eye glasses for the sight impaired. The locations are the Los Gatos Post Office, Lunardi's Grocery at King's Court. Please remember to bring your old eye glasses and drop them off in the collection boxes. Your glasses will be refurbished and distributed to those in need. 100% of proceeds go directly to area sight services including the Santa Clara Valley Blind Center, vision screenings, and eye glasses for this in need. A Proclamation from the town of Los Gatos was presented to the Lions Club by Mayor Steve Leonardis recognizing White Cane Day as a service to the community and those in need.
