A tradition
for over 25 years, the Fiesta is a venue for
artisans, vintners, entertainers, and merchants
to gather and celebrate with visitors from
all over the Bay Area. The Fiesta dates for

Music in the Park
Music in the
Park is an extremely popular summer series
of free musical concerts held on Sunday afternoons.
Five to twelve performances of various musical
styles are produced by the Town of Los Gatos
Arts Commission each season, with a special
presentation on July 4th held on the Los Gatos
High School front lawn.

Jazz on the Plazz
A new event in 2003, Jazz
on the Plazz was an immediate success in Los
Gatos. Concerts are held on Wednesday evenings
in June, July and August at the Town’s
historic centerpiece, Town Plaza; feature a
variety of free jazz performances.

Los Gatos Celebrates
the 4th of July
Los Gatos says "Happy Birthday,
America" in a good old-fashioned way.
The town gets all decked out in red-white-and-blue
and holds an All-American Picnic & Games
with a traditional band concert on the high
school lawn. After the concert, there's a free
cake and ice cream social. The day-long activities
end with a twilight dance with music for every
generation.
Screen on the Green
Screen on the Green is
a tradition in the making. This is a free outdoor
showing of a popular film suitable for families
in Oak Meadow Park in the fall.
Races and Runs
Several races
and runs take place in the town. To name a
few: the Resolution Run from Los Gatos High
School to Lexington Dam and back; The
Great Race from Saratoga to Los Gatos along Highway
9; the Dammit Run, a 5-mile footrace that ends
at Los Gatos High School; the Cat’s
Hill Classic Bicycle Race, which features
a day of bike races through the beautiful Almond
Grove neighborhood occurs one week before
Mother’s Day each year.
Holiday Tree Lighting, Children's Parade and
Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
The town of Los Gatos
celebrates the holiday season with warmth and
old-fashioned charm. The town's traditional
Children's Holiday Parade takes place on the
first Saturday in December, the morning after
the Tree Lighting ceremony. It attracts an
estimated 15,000 spectators. On the Friday
night, prior to the parade, the town's Christmas
tree in Plaza Park is lit with much fanfare
and song. After the lighting, villagers and
guests can enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride
through historic neighborhoods of beautiful
homes and along one of the festively-decorated
downtown streets. Carriage Rides, hosted by
the Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce, take place
Thursdays through Sundays until Christmas. Santa
In The Los Gatos Town Plaza Park are on the
three Sundays leading up to Christmas, 11AM-3PM.
