We hope to see you at next week's Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, Hotel Los Gatos, 5:30 PM, July 24th. This event is by reservation only.
We will be honoring Gary Schloh with the 2008 Business Person of the Year Award and will be installing your 2008-2009 Chamber Board of Directors.
Please contact the office to make your reservation. Dinner will be catered by Dio Deka and the wine served with dinner is being generously poured by Silver Mountain Vineyards.
We are working with Atlantic Publications on the 2009 edition of the Chamber Resourse and Information Guide. Our sales person, Patrick Lennon, has started contacting members and you should have received your information verification letter for the 2009 Directory listing and the Ad information in yesterday's e-mail.
As you know, we mail the directory out to 15,000 Los Gatos residents each year as well as distribute an additional 2,500 copies through the Chamber office and other member locations. Please not only verify your information through Atlantic and take advantage of the ad opprtunity but make sure that your information is up to date in our database by using your business login and password on our website. If you need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact the Chamber office.

Our July Biz to Biz is on Tuesday, July 29 at Viva Restaurant, 15970 Los Gatos Blvd. 11:30am to 1pm. There's networking, a delicious lunch and an informative discussion. This month, we will " Meet Greg Larson, Town Manager of Los Gatos". The cost for the luncheon is $20 for members with advanced reservations, $25 for prospective members and $25 for all at the door. Because seating is limited, we strongly advise that you make your reservation ahead of time by contacting the Chamber office.
August Biz Break hosted by your Chamber Ambassadors will be on Tuesday, August 5 at California Cafe. Biz Break is an ongoing social, networking event that is held on the first Tuesday of every month. It is open to everyone, members and prospective members alike (as are all of our events). No entry fee, no reservations.
The Chamber is hosting another trip to China March 6-14, 2009. This trip is open to all and is a truly unique travel experience. A $200 deposit will hold your spot with the balance due in December.

Coinciding with the historic 2008 Presidential election, Dr. Seuss throws his "hat" into the ring by releasing the first-ever political print editions to the public. The exhibit will run through the November election. Kick-Off Rally at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Exhibit will run through the November election.

French Cellar's next class, " Champagnes!" will be held on July 30. The class is an introduction to the various Champagne styles and blends, from the small family-owned vineyards to the larger well-known houses and begins at 7 PM.
